Feet : can we prevent the appearance of blister ?

If there was an attitude to be adopted witch can allow to keep "healthy" feet throughout the event, Doctrotter, thanks to the studies led for 10 years, would have been able to deliver 'an instant recipe'.
It is there regrettably nothing, and the arisen of light blister depends on several factors which can vary :

According to the competitors,
According to, naturally, degrees of difficulties of the race,
To same one competitor, from one year to the next, according to biological factors
appropriate (nutrition, metabolism, factors of cutaneous hydratation),
According to the climatic conditions,
... etc

At the most is it possible to kick away some rules which every competitor will adapt to his customs, and especially his experience.

1/ The preparation of feet for this race is taken into account by participants' great majority. The duration of this one spreads out between 5 and 60 days. The common denominator of this preparation is the tanning.

The list of the used products cannot be exhaustive; it depends on customs, on commercial distributions, and on countries.

Creams antifriction are very effective, it prepare well the skin and allow a good tanning (Prodexine, Nok)
Substances with veterinarian custom, paints, etc are also used.
Formalin, acid picrique, acid salicylcique, benjoin, alcohol, White spirit, talc, henna, shea-tree, curry, etc.

2/ The shoes
The best way of buying running shoes makes the object of studies pushed on behalf of the competitors, and improves often year by year; each goes of the guiles and modifications there, quite more learned the some than the others;

All the shoes should always have at least one size furthermore than the normal, and mostly two sizes (elongation of the foot beyond 30 km, and permanent inflation. The shoe is always worn;

Certain shoes favor the traffic of the sand (opening forward and behind), the others prevent it;

The divisions favor the absence of conflict;

The sock is rigorous, fine sometimes with separate fingers.

3/ The foot 'in running'
Prevent the appearance of blisters. Two main words : HYGIENE - DRYING

HYGIENE
Dices the arrival, the indispensable cleaning of feet. Some centilitres of your water on a tissue will perfectly work. Indeed clear the sand of corners.
It is not recommended to dilute the foot, even less to plunge it for a long time into the water, not so as to weaken the skin and increase the maceration.

DRYING
Air your feet, fan-shaped toes in the sun, and in the wind.
Air your socks and your shoes.
Do not walk barefoot, but with your 'old socks of the day before' which are dry.
